Welcome to the SciWorld website
SciWorld is a South Australian not-for-profit community organization formed in early 2007.
We formed following the closure of The Investigator Science and Technology Centre in late 2006 and since that time have purchased all The Investigator's physical assets and much of their intellectual property.
Our long term aim is to establish a new science centre in Adelaide to use as a base
to run exciting science education programs for all South Australians,
with particular emphasis on those in the 6 - 18 year age group. Given
that the establishment of a new science centre may take some time, we
have begun by offering a range of outreach programs, events and
resources to ensure that the momentum that was created by the good work
of The Investigator is not lost.
On this website you will find information on our FREE SciWorld Industry Tour program for school students; our forthcoming series of FREE SciWorld Sunday events at various locations around Adelaide; the resources we have that can be hired to enhance school programs or community events; and our overall aims and objectives.

This is a 90 minute classroom activity that comes to your school. All the robots and laptops are provided by SciWorld. Ideal for primary classes 4-7 but also suitable for Middle School.
