External Exhibitions

Visit some of SciWorld's hands-on science exhibits in Parkes NSW and Emerald QLD.

Parkes Radio Telescope Visitors Centre, Parkes NSW. Open: 8.30 am to 4.15 pm every day except Christmas and Boxing Days. Free entry. 02 6861 1777. Located 20km north of Parkes, 100km south of Dubbo on the Newell Highway, New South Wales.

SciWorld sent many hands-on science exhibits to the Central Highlands Science Centre in Emerald QLD when it was devastated by the Queensland floods in January 2011. SciWorld congratulates their dedicated team of volunteers that have the Centre up and running. Here are some photos from their Open Day at the Emerald Showgrounds, QLD. The Science Centre is located in Spencer Smith Pavilion (under the grandstand), Emerald Show Grounds. Visitors of all ages are welcome to visit the Central Highlands Science Centre.
